The Design

“Lived-in comfort.”

This quick-to-knit sweater is airy and lightweight. Loose ribbing at the hem and cuffs gives it a lived-in look. Holding three strands of lace-weight yarn together—two mohair, one smooth—we chose high contrast colors for a smudgy marl. Closer tones with render a soft, pretty wash of color for a more tonal look.

For an Easy Relaxed Pullover with graceful, semi-sheer fabric, we held two strands of Rowan together with one strand of Rowan Fine Lace.

This eight-page pattern includes:

  • Color photography by Laura Gehring
  • Special Techniques
    • Invisible Cast-On Method
    • Adjusting Body Length
    • ‘Clip & Turn’ Short-Row Shaping
    • Sewn Invisible Bind-Off
    • Adjusting Sleeve Length
  • Comprehensive sizing schematic
  • Instructions for seaming, blocking, and finishing your piece.
